Hello, I’m Laura.
A visual storyteller hooked on arts and culture, design and technology. I spent almost a decade as an art director at Ogilvy, DDB, MullenLowe and Bombai, and now work independently on identities, campaigns and spaces for culture.
Picture a mashup of Donna Haraway, Olafur Eliasson and Daft Punk, wrapped up in a David Shrigley drawing. I’m drawn to unexpected languages and experimental mindsets, from the kinetic sculptures of DRIFT to the simple, powerful drawings of Bruno Munari.
In another universe I’m an anthropologist, moving between cultures and decoding the human experience. In this one I’m a designer obsessed with visual expression, typography, contemporary art and technology, and drawn to anything expressive, bold, contemporary and unapologetically non-literal.
When I’m not designing you’ll find me at museums and gallery openings, or on my bike with no set destination. Colombian by birth, living in Europe, making the things I wish existed.
