Berlinale key visual: a figure in a red coat behind the Berlinale wordmark

The spark

While watching Tilda Swinton’s speech at the Berlinale, the phrase “borderless realm” stayed with me and became the starting point for this project.

The idea

I reimagined the festival’s identity by using artificial intelligence to generate abstract imagery, blending it with visual interpretations of Berlin’s monuments. The shapes cut into each poster come from the city itself. It became a space to experiment with emerging tools while growing as a designer.

What I made

  • Campaign key visuals
  • Poster series and film programme posters
  • Out-of-home and transit
  • Printed programme
