The question
What would a lake say if it could speak? Lake Tota rarely makes the news, even as its water quality collapses.
The idea
I created sounds from images: a search for a voice of the lake’s own, a kind of scream pulled out of a photograph and carried into a completely different context. The photographs, the sound and the exhibition identity all work from the same surface: water, tension and ceremony.

Outcome
Exhibited at Gallery Studio 74 in San Felipe, Bogotá, alongside the artists Camilo Bojacá and Adriana Niño.
